Sol And Luna is located 1 km from the town of Urubamba in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a perfect place to start your visit to Peru. The Valley is a prime cultural and adventure destination in South America.
It is home to a number of important Inca ruins including Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Maras and Moray and a convenient departure point for the fabled Machu Picchu, with trains leaving daily from nearby Urubamba and Ollantaytambo stations.
The Valley is at a lower elevation than Cusco, about an hour away by car, which makes for a gentler acclimatization to the altitude.
