Kunza has created a program of 30 different excursions enabling you to discover and experience most of the desert, its oasis, the altiplano and its culture. Every night the guest meet the guides in the Tambo del Chasqui to discuss the following day's excursions. 8 alternatives are available, classified according to duration, difficulty and means of transport. This excursions has been designed for normal urban individuals who do not require special training or special skills. The Kunza guide team is highly qualified in knowledge about the area, becoming not only unforgettable traveling companions but also interpreters of the different historical, geological, geographical, climatic, archaeological, and flora and fauna environments. Kunza Excursions are aimed at the sustainability of communities and cooperation with them. Each one of the guides is part of a team that is concerned about the environment and has a global outlook. A long walk, an outing on horseback or a bicycle or simply watching of a sunset form a natural lookout point, enriches the soul, the body and the spirit.

Back pack, swimsuit, sandals, several layers of clothe (Capilene, Fleece, Polar), trainers, trekking shoes, trekking trousers, windbreaker, sun block, hat for the sun, sunglasses (UV), Gloves and hat for high altitude excursions, high mountain parkas will be needed in case of a climb up to 5000.
