Hi! Sandoval Lake was lovely – I spent my birthday there! They even baked me a cake! We had an amazing view of lots of monkeys and we even managed a glimpse of the giant otter pups. We were very lucky! It was a cool spell in the jungle but that was fine for us Brits! The walk in through the mud was exhausting so I was glad we were there a couple of days! The hotel at Machu Pichu was fantastic – we really enjoyed that and the cloud forest nature walks were great. It had been quite a rushed holiday just to fit everything in so it was nice to have a relaxing day there before we moved on. The weather generally was warmer than we’d expected and the beautiful blue skies at Colca Canyon, Machu Pichu and Lake Titicaca have made for some wonderful photos. We’ll send some more! We very much enjoyed the Peruvian food although we were a little unwell at altitude so didn’t eat much when we were up high! We really enjoyed cerviche in Lima though and the culinary tour was excellent – we got to try lots of Peruvian classics which we’d missed out on. Edmund learnt to make pisco sour and we brought a bottle back! We were impressed with the Ica wines too. La Rosa Nautica Restaurant in Lima was excellent. Please pass on our thanks. Chile sounds good as a next trip! Thank you again Amanda

My husband and I were very happy with the reservations you made for us at the Grand Hyatt and Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Santiago, Chile. The rates were exceptional bargains, and your service was without fault. Thank you. We will recommend you to anyone visiting South America. Carol McDonald

Hi, We had a wonderful trip. Attached are some photos. Everything went very smoothly. Transfers were perfectly on time and the people involved were very, very pleasant. Hotels were very good. Food and crew on the cruise ship were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We saw very little wildlife of the cruise. Also, one day the seas were running 3 to 5 meters....we thought we should have been given advance notice that the seas were going to be rough. Finally, one night in Punta Arenas would have sufficed and we probably shouldn't have stayed overnight in Ushuaia. You were terrific with your suggestions and help. Of course we would recommend you when the occasion arises. Happy, Healthy New Year, Rita and Stan

Hello, Many thanks for your e-mail welcoming us back home. And thank you for arranging such a wonderful visit to Chile and Easter Island - everything went so well, seeing everything and always with someone to meet us at airports and hotels. It was good to meet you as well, and it is nice to be able to picture you as we talk about this marvellous trip. We did take a lot of photographs, a few of which I have attached for you. thank you again for a great trip and all three of us wish you well for the future. Tony Jackson

Robert and i arrived home about 3 hours ago and I cannot wait longer to tell you what a perfectly wondrous experience the whole trip was. We give YOU full credit for making things work so smoothly and beautifully. Our pickups were always there; the guides were special folks, the drivers careful and kind, the sights very interesting and exciting for us. You were on our minds so often as the behind-the-scenes orchestrator of this grand adventure. I would like to write you a personal note of thanks if you would care to share your personal address with us. Hotel Gavasconi took our breathes away, as I told you, and the Emparador was all and more we could have hoped for. If we return to either city, they will be our hotels of choice -- and count on the fact that we will have YOU making the arrangements. Our only stresses were the airports in BA. the flight to wonderful Iguazu was 2 hours late and the return trip more than three hours late. I can't even describe the fiascoes - yes, plural, with American Airlines trying to get on our return flight. But they have nothing to do with the superb service you and your colleagues provided -- just a fairly routine travel glitch. This one will get you ! We never did see a tango show. They came for us on schedule and we had just gotten to the hotel and decided we preferred to sit in their beautiful lobby bar and have a couple of glasses of wine instead. We did see street tango and loved it. Next time maybe a tango show for jane and robert. The truth is, after a time a certain fatigue sets in and you have to listen to what your body tells you. We decided, heck with every single advance plan, we would do what our spirits of the moment told us to do. It worked out well. Truly, robert and I can't thank you enough. It was an absolutely first-rate travel experience. jane bernhart
