Awasi is a new luxury boutique hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile. With only 8 rooms, guests can enjoy the splendor of the Atacama Desert
In an ancient site surrounded by a historical wall, only three blocks away from the main square of the village you will find a house created of stone, adobe and wood, this is Awasi, for those who take the leap to live the unforgettable experience of the Atacama Desert. In order to ensure privacy and comfort, they only have 8 cottages, (55 m2). Each one has generous spaces and a private patio. Wooden floors, sheets of the finest linen and alpaca blankets. Ample bathrooms open to a private solarium with outdoor shower. The outdoors are ample spaces with different living rooms to choose from for a quiet day of reading, a nice bath with Atacama salts, or a drink around the hearth. All excursions are on a private basis. A jeep and a professional guide are always available so that guests can take the outings according to their own preference and pace. The expeditions are carefully prepared with the help of inhabitants from the native community in order to discover new landscapes and points of interest. The gastronomy is based on home-cooked delicacies. Fruit juices and specially baked bread awaken the guests. At dusk, a chosen place awaits with a lit fire for cocktails and fine local gourmet dishes.

- Until 61 days prior arrival: 10% of the total amount
- 60 - 31 days prior arrival: 25% of the total amount
- 30 - 21 days prior arrival: 55% of the total amount
- 20 - 00 days prior arrival: 100% of the total amount

- Rates are for land arrangements only.

- Rates are per person, in US dollars, and based on two people sharing a room or a 1 traveler in a single room. Triple occupancy Room (sharing 3 guests) can be quoted.
- Children over 10 years old pay full fare. Children under 10 years old - 10% of regular rate. Only available in Rectangular Suites.
- The following information at least 30 working days is required: NAME(S) AND SURNAME(S) - PASSPORT NUMBER - DATE OF BIRTH - NATIONALITY - PROFESSION - MEDICAL OR DIETARY INDICATIONS.
- Passengers may have in consideration the following recommendations when travelling in altitude: If you have cardiopulmonary problems, high blood pressure or obesity, check with your doctor first / Do not eat heavy food before travelling in altitude, such as meat or fried food / Drinks as much water as possible/ Avoid dehydration / Do not drink too much alcohol.
- We recommend you to take: 20 to 35 lts. Back pack, swimsuit, sandals, several layers of clothe (Capilene, Fleece, Polar), trainers, trekking shoes, trekking trousers, windbreaker, sun block, hat for the sun, sunglasses (UV), Gloves and hat for high altitude excursions, high mountain parkas will be needed in case of a climb up to 5000.
- Type of Rooms: Single room implies room for 1 person occupancy. Double room implies room with 2 guests sharing a double bed full size, queen or king bed, as available at time of check in or hotel category. Twin room implies room with 2 twin/single person beds. Triple room implies a room for 3 person occupancy and may include a rollaway bed. We cannot guarantee any specific bed type in advance.
- Airfares are not included unless specifically mentioned in inclusions and can be quoted separately.
